Downward Revision United States Economy

The Bureau of Economic Analysis published its new estimates of the growth of the United States Economy. Although the revision for 2010 was positive, you can see in the graph that the revisions in total are negative.
  • For 2008 previously published was no growth nor decline, new estimates show a 0,3 percent decline. 
  • For 2009 previous estimate showed a decline of 2,6 percent, now revised to a decline of 3,5 percent.
  • For 2010 the growth was thought to be 2,9 percent, now it is said to be 3 percent.
